Well, as you already know, my friends call me "Swedish", and right now I'm in Ireland, so I'll post here pictures of the best things you can see around Dublin.
So, yesterday I went to Dublin, but before taking the train we could take some pictures of Glenageary, the town where we are living.
As you can see in the pictures, it was raining all day long, just as it was when I went to London... I don't know if the weather hates me or I hate that weather even more... maybe both. Fortunately, I was wearing my raincoat, which is quite good, so I kept dry, but we couldn't sit in a bench to see people walking or have some rest.
Well, Pictures from Glenageary, this is a church I really liked.
This is the seaside, a very Typical Irish scenery
And this is Dublin. This picture is taken inside the Trinity College. There you can see these gardens and a bell... I liked it, it is quite cool. I think that going to class where the sight is like this has to be much better than going to my university...
And this is a very typical monument of Dublin. It is called "the Spire", but people around call it "the Spike". I think it is 120 meters long.
And here is the River that goes across Dublin. I actually don't remember the name of the river... sorry.
Well, as it was raining, we end up in the "Stephen's Green Shopping Centre", which is quite nice. It looks like a train station or something... at least it has Wi-Fi.
Well, we saw a shop called HMV, where you can find very cheap albums and films... and series, of course!! as an example, the first 4 House seasons for 59 €, cheaper than in Spain, isn't it?
Later we went to Howt, a very nice fishing town.
In the background you can see an Island, called Ireland's Eye, where nobody is living there. It is quite amazing that at only 2 km from the capital, you can find such a natural place.
Well, there I am, not looking so good... I have to say that I was wearing my back pack inside the raincoat for keeping it dry.
Ireland's Eye:
And here is the dock
Well, that's been enough for today... next day I'll show you the next excursion. I hope you like it!!
If you have any doubt and I can solve it, please, ask!!
Hugs from Ireland!!
